Welcome to the 559 Bikes web site - the independent bike shop for South East Wales. We hold in stock a range of Specialized bikes (both road and mountain bikes), and also sell a number of popular brands of bike clothing, spares and tools etc. Check out the "Web Links" section (left) for a selection of these brands.
We also provide a bike maintenance service, and our workshop is fully equiped to deal with any mechanical issue. Check out the Workshop page for further information.

Shop Rides
Shop rides are an opportunity for mountain bikers to get together, and maybe discover some new trails!
The nature and difficulty of the route will be decided at the beginning of each ride, depending on the wishes of those who come along.
Meet between 6.30/6.45pm outside 559 shop front, on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month.
During the darker months of the year, please ensure you bring adequate lighting.

Busy Workshop
Update: 14th April 2010Please book early/plan for events as the workshop is very busy at the moment and we may not be able to fit you in. Now the sun has come out everybody is digging their bikes out from the long cold winter hibernation.

Gore Ride-On Cables
Update: 1st March 2010Coming soon Gore Ride-On cables. Just what your mountain bike needs in the wet and muddy trails of late. These are fully sealed cable systems for your brakes or gears for both on and off road.

We now have a demo Dolce in store. This is a womens road bike, perfect for everyone from the social rider to the fitness trainer - designed to fit the female cyclist's needs.
