Shop Rides
Shop rides are an opportunity for mountain bikers to get together, and maybe discover some new trails!
The nature and difficulty of the route will be decided at the beginning of each ride, depending on the wishes of those who come along.
Meet between 6.30/6.45pm outside 559 shop front, on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month.
During the darker months of the year, please ensure you bring adequate lighting.

Bristol Bikefest '09



559 Bikes had a team of riders at this years event, all kitted out in the 559 Bikes jerseys.
Two 559 riders fought their way to podium positions in the 6hr race, with Rich Kibble and Kate McCoy both getting 3rd place positions in the Male Open and Female Open categories respectively. Check out the official results page here.
Another Chepstow-based rider, Paul Murrin came 3rd in the Male Open 12hr race.
Congratulations to all riders who took part in the event.

Mountain Mayhem

The biggest 24 hour mountain bike race in the world, held at Eastnor Castle (near Ledbury) on the weekend of 20th/21st June 09.
A number of 559 riders are entered into this years event, so why not come along to offer your support in this grueling event!
